Please Vote "NO" to the Emergencies Act

Dear MPs,

As a Canadian, I am deeply concerned that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has just invoked the Emergencies Act!

Hereby I strongly suggest you vote "NO" to it!

I was born in a Communist country by bad luck, but I came to Canada by my free will.

I chose to become a Canadian, to live in a country where the people can live free, without fear of harassment, intimidation and persecution by a tyranny!

Our fundamental freedoms are enshrined in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. However, they can only be guaranteed when we have a functional democracy, where different voices are allowed and heard, where the government is accountable to the people.

What Prime Minister Justin Trudeau did was already wrong, by imposing COVID vaccination mandates, which is clearly a violation of our fundamental right of bodily autonomy - the right for a person to govern what happens to their body without external influence or coercion.

And what Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has just done is extremely dangerous to Canada, as invoking the Emergencies Act without just cause serves only one purpose - to give the government absolute power without any check!

Just remember, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely!"

Look at what this government is doing now, right after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act... hunting down the dissidents, harassing and intimidating the citizens who exercise their freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, using propaganda machines to smear and incite public hatred to peaceful protesters... These are exactly what I would expect to see in a Communist totalitarian state!

Folks, for the sake of Canada's future, please do the right thing - say "NO" to the Emergencies Act!

Trust me, by doing so you will be proud of yourself one day when you look back, assured that our future generations can still sing with pride, "O Canada, glorious and free!"

Freedom to Canada!

Sincerely,

XXX
