Job Requirements
A Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in hydraulic and mechanical design of custom industrial equipment.
Demonstrated design experience with hydraulic/electro-mechanical systems, welding/fabrication processes and GD&T.
Responsibilities include: creation of new hydraulic schematics, selection of hydraulic components, design of hydraulic power units, machine dynamics, fabrication design, power transmission component selection, preparation of drawing packages, BOM creation, creation of O&M manuals, troubleshooting of hydraulic equipment, and project documentation
Proficient with SolidWorks (with formal training preferred); experience with FEA desirable
Proficient with AutoCAD
Creative and analytical thinker
Results oriented with proven experience in design-for-manufacturability
Interpersonal and communication strengths, able to work individually and as part of a team
