    Web Programmer

    Web Programmer wanted part-time, for managing a web site. Approximately 2-10
    hours per week, on a consulting basis. Work from home. Must live in the GTA
    in
    Toronto, Canada. $25 per hour. Start immediately.

    Qualifications:

    - Comfortable working in a UNIX/FreeBSD shell environment running an Apacheweb server.

    - Extensive knowledge of CGI programming in the perl language.

    - Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.

    - Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, and DBI packages an asset.

    - Good communication skills.

    - Willing to take initiative to point out problems or suggest improvements.

    - Able to respond quickly in case of (very rare) emergency site needs.

    Position description summary:
    As a member of the Operations Team, the Webmaster is responsible for

    Expected results:
